Sea Shell Liveaboard in Seychelles

From $166 / day Book Now

Sea Shell Liveaboard in Seychelles is the first vessel in the Silhouette Cruises fleet. Built in Holland in 1920, she has served as a pilot vessel, fishing boat and sailing school before being converted to a charter vessel in 1996 to cruise the islands of the Seychelles. Discover the wonders of the Seychelles with a cruise on the charming and historic 36m schooner Sea Shell.

She accommodates a maximum of 20 guests in 8 twin, double and triple cabins. Cabins are all air-conditioned and equipped with a wash basin, reading lights, storage cupboard and power sockets. Shared bathrooms have a toilet and shower.

Communal areas include a main air-conditioned lounge, a covered open-air leisure area, a padded sundeck and netting on the bow which serves as suspended hammocks for relaxing in.

Enjoy authentic Creole cuisine as well as international favourites on board. Meals can be enjoyed in the air-conditioned lounge for seated dining or picnic-style outdoors on deck.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy on a cruise on Sea Shell in addition to diving. When winds allow, guests are welcome to try their hand at sailing the old-fashioned way under the supervision of Sea Shell’s crew. Equipment for snorkelling and bottom-line fishing, as well as kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, are all available on board on a complimentary basis. Cruises include island excursions to view endemic wildlife.

Divers can expect to visit some of the best dive sites in the Seychelles’ inner islands during a cruise on Sea Shell. There is a dedicated PADI instructor on board to meet the needs of both novice and experienced divers. Introductory dives are available for those wishing to try scuba diving for the first time. PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses can be completed on board.
