The magnificent 42m Samambaia in Indonesia is a traditional wooden sailing vessel. She takes divers to Raja Ampat, Komodo, the Banda Sea, Alor, Forgotten Islands and Triton Bay in absolute comfort and safety. Her maiden voyage was in November 2015 and she has been delighting guests ever since. Guests can expect professional service in a relaxed atmosphere. Smooth dive operations are complemented by dedicated facilities for photographers.

She accommodates 14 guests in 6 comfortable double and twin cabins located below deck. In addition, there is one stunning master suite on the afterdeck with 180-degree panoramic views. All cabins have individual air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms, which feature a rain shower head paired with a hand shower. There is a western standard non-marine toilet with integrated bidet and a wash basin carved out of fossilised wood. Bio-degradable soap and shampoo are provided to minimise the impact on the environment.

Prepare to be spoiled by international cuisine with a focus on fresh local ingredients. Fresh bread and pastries are prepared every day. Fish and seafood are carefully chosen from sustainable sources only. An excellent selection of wine rounds out the culinary experience.

Relax in the air-conditioned lounge or enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on Samambaia’s large sun deck. Indulge in a massage or one of the spa treatments on offer.

The dive deck offers 14 individual spaces to prepare for diving and to store your gear. There are two large rinse tanks with a separate camera compartment, two hot water showers, a large camera workbench and an air-conditioned camera room. Nitrox is included in the price of your trip.
