Moana Liveaboard in Indonesia is a classic 30m Phinisi schooner. She effortlessly combines the beauty of a traditional Indonesian sailing vessel with the modern conveniences, safety features and comforts divers look for on a liveaboard. Purpose built with diving in mind, she has been making trips to Komodo National Park since 2004.
Ten guests can be accommodated in five air-conditioned, en-suite cabins, all entirely redesigned and refurbished in 2015. There are two twin cabins with two single beds, two cabins with one double bed, and one cabin for two adults and a toddler with one large double bed. Guests are welcome to sleep on deck under the stars; mattresses and blankets are available.
Moana has had plenty of children onboard since her launch, from babies to toddlers to teenagers, and prides herself on being a very child safe boat. Her crew is quite used to handling children of all ages and will be of great help to you.
Enjoy a variety of Asian and international cuisine on board. A light breakfast is followed by a warm breakfast, a served two-course lunch, and a served three-course dinner. Vegetarian options are available and a selection of beer, wine and spirits can be purchased at reasonable prices.
One of the unique features of this liveaboard is the option to choose between an all-inclusive diving package, where you pay for all the dives on the itinerary, or a pay-per-dive package. Guests may use snorkelling equipment free of charge.
Amenities include a fresh hot water shower on deck, plenty of space to relax on deck in the sun or under the shade, excellent sound & light systems and a library with fish identification books.
